The game Is moreover or less the same concept as warcraft where there are two civilisations, The humans & the beasts. In savage 2 We consider the earth where humans are in tribal age and are trying to survive by capturing resources of the land.Eventually the Nature beasts combine to form a civilisation and become a enemy to the humankind.The humans who have made weapons and found new scientific advancements become a threat to the beasts survival.This storyline of the game doesnt bring game any diherence because this isnt a Singleplayer campaign game to have conceren with the story.
The concept of the game is same like Warcraft:Dota. There are two teams , each having thier own base and the objective of the teams are to destroy the others base at any means.You have towers, mines, for defense.The team mates choose thier charecters like predators behmoths etc.. to defend the base and destroy mines and towers of others.
Althought this might seem to be a tough Real time strategy game Savage 2 has got some wonderful features for its users. They have a Tutorial at the game starting which can be even played offline and there is a practise mode where you can choose which beast to fight with and improvise ur skills.There is a build invoice system which guides users even during play.
Speaking of game play its really simple Swing your sword ,cast some spells, Sprint and perform cool moves to bring down your opponent at any costs.You have a Mana Meter and a health meter.Both the meter levels depend on the type of charecter chosen.The health meter shows how much health you still have to survive although after each battle it increases by itself just for like a hero in warcraft.The mana meter gives you the points required to perform a action or an attack.Each Basic Action Has its own required mana points to be assigned to it. This meter also regenerates itself.
It is easy to Play this game but hard to master.Every civilisation or class has its own abilities and demerits in play. For example the Humans consist of Normal axeman, wizards and long range shooters & the Beasts contain hell units , predators. It might seem Funny that how can humans defeat these big gigantic beasts. That totally depends on how the users play and how they use thier skills to defeat the beast.
Every team has its own commander who controls the movements of the team. The Winning Percentage of the team totally depends on the commander managing and thinking abilities.So be wise to choose the commander of the team.Destroying buildings , bases are all controlled by the commander and set of objectives are given by him.
Coming to performance stats. The game looks fairly well for a online game with inspiring graphics, engaging game play and average sound effects. It might need a good cpu to run it .
