Review Contributed by Kolosos aka Whole Author S4, the craze that is taking over the world. In several months, it already has 5K players online at all time, and that is only the european version. This high octane, futuristic Third Person Shooter will take your breath away, steal your heart, and give it back to you, along with a high powered laser cannon, a giant broadsword, and your very own little robot sentry. This game has a variety of weapons to choose from, each different in its own way and with Pros and Cons of its own. There are mainly 4 types of weapons: Machine guns, Installment weapons, Mellee weapons, and Sniping weapons. So theres a weapon for everyone. And with the 3 game modes, The Death Match, The Touch Down, and soon to come to EUS4, the Arcade Mode, theres enough variety to keep you going. But we haven't even gotten to the best part yet: Its graphics. The game is made as a futuristic shooter, and as such the graphics are EPIC to say the least. With Futuristic look and buildings, and the graphics that will STUN your mind into one place, S4 will take you on an journey of a lifetime. With its distinctive accent on teamwork rather then bloodbath, S4 puts your team skills to the test. Each player has their own position in the team. With the game play as fast as a turbo-engine race car, and the excitement of a thriller movie, S4 is truly a game for everyone. The moves you can pull off in S4 are ones that you would only expect in a Matrix movie: Wall jumps, barrel rolls, Mid air Sword fights..I could count a million more things that make S4 a unique gaming experience, but i will just say this. S4 is the future of online shooters. Now a bit for the gaming community. The mods are pretty active, and most of the players are polite. Rarely you will meet a rager or a jerk. But every game has them. That's probably the only thing bad about S4. S4 currently doesn't have a clan system in place. Pretty soon the new clan system will be implented or it will be one of the major detremental factors killing this wonderful game. The interface is flashy and yet user friendly. You get to choose servers mostly based on the language of you preference. One thig you have to watch out for is not to use up all your cash and free trial weapons which will lead to account lock out.. And now a bit for the Specs needed to play this game:The minimum requirements are: Pentium III on 1 Ghz, 256 MB RAM, 3 GB free disc space, Windows 98/ME/2k/XP/, a GeForce 2 MX 440, DirectX 9.0C and a 56 kb/s connection. But to TRULY experience the S4 EXPERIENCE, i would recommend this build: A Pentium IV on 2.4 Ghz At LEAST, with 1 GB Ram, 3 GB free disc space, Windows XP, GeForce 8000 At Least, DirectX 9.0C and a LAN connection or better. Of course anything above this configuration is good too. And to top it all off, there's yet to be a game that will achieve the level or entertainment, excitement and pleasure S4 gives to the player.
